Intermediate Visit

                                         Intermediate Visit

Ki Ora Bloggers, In today's blog I am going to be blogging about my visit to waikowhai intermediate. There were 36 waikowhai primary kids going to waikowhai intermediate from my school. And a lot of another kids from other schools.

What we did was there was  teachers that up 1 by one and call your name and you have to stand up so that you can go and meet your teacher and see what room your in. I am in room 15 and my teacher is Mr Swan. When Mr Swan called all of the kids names I started sweating. Because he called my friends names Ruta and Genevieve but then he started to call other kids names and then he called my name. When he called my name my friends  Genevieve and Ruta Hugged me.

Once he called our names we then went outside and made 2 lines and walked to our class for 2021 at Waikowhai Intermediate. We walked and Mr Swan told us to pick a spot to sit in. We all sat down and he then put on the television and we watch a video of all the things they do in Waikowhai Intermediate. We then did a scavenger hunt on a iPad and we had questions on a paper.

Then kids that were year 8 called kids from Room 15 to come up take a picture. We then packet up everything and walked back to the hall. When we all went through all of the things for Waikowhai Intermediate we then went back to the hall and Mr King, the principle went onto the stage to say a thank you for all of the kids who are starting intermediate for 2021.

So I hope everyone has a nice good read about my visit to my Waikowhai Intermediate. And I hope you all enjoy going to meet your new teacher at your intermediate.

Anyways.....

skateboard

                  🛹 skateboarding🛹

Hello amazing bloggers, guess what I did today with my class today "SKATEBOARDING". Have you ever skateboarded before? Well yes and let me tell you its very fun I think you should try it. But let me tell you how I felt. At first I felt nervous but then I started getting used to it. It was fun and exciting because its always fun to try new things you have never done before.

The first thing that we did was that we had to stand in front of a skateboard and helmet. When put the helmet on. Then Ben and Lawrence  gave us  time to have a little practice of skating. They then put us into 2 groups. What we did in our 2 groups is Ben was in group 2 my group basically and Lawrence was in group 1.  They taught us a lot of skills and played games like whats the time Mr wolf.

When we finished getting thought a lot of skills from Ben we then got to mix up with the other group and  have free time to play on the skateboards.  what was challenging for me was that my balancing and trying not to fall of from my skate board. What I have learned from that 1st skateboard lesson was learning a lot of things that I haven't learnt before. What I have gained from learning to skateboard was how I had the confidence to try and ride the skateboard.

Well SKATEBOARDING was really fun to do.  Well I hope you enjoy this blog about skateboarding and let me ask you all a question. Don't be afraid to face your fears of riding a skateboard because you know, you can do it.

Well anyways...

There were 8 scenes and 8 classes that preformed and put in there hard work into it. What I did was my class mates and some of the  syndicate of Te Waka Ako did is . We all came up with bits and pieces of dance moves and put it together. The song we danced to was a R.E.S.P.E.C.T song by-Aretha Franklin. This took time to make and time to put together. When it was me and my class mates turn up, we all lined up in our lines and went up onto the stage family's and teachers started cheering out loud for there children. Well there it was, it was fun to talk about my school production.
